Andy and Renee have attended Crosspoint for 12+ years and have led Small Groups since 2015. They have been married for 10 years and are a blended family. Between them, they have four adult sons, an adult daughter, and 2 grandsons - with another on the way. Andy and Renee are semi-retired, Andy from a 35+ year dental practice, and Renee as his office manager. They enjoy cooking, swimming, attending concerts, and cheering on their beloved Dodgers. They are looking forward to having a small group who prays for and encourages one another through both good and difficult times.

Brian and Lindsay have been married for 20 years and are empty-nesters with three adult children. Brian works in heavy equipment sales, and Lindsay works in the health and wellness industry. They're passionate about growing in their walk with Jesus and helping others experience His love in a real, personal way. They’ve attended Crosspoint for 15+ years and are excited to lead a small group where everyone feels welcomed, encouraged, and challenged in their faith. Their desire is to dig into God’s Word together, share life’s ups and downs, and cheer each other on in the journey.

Brian and Christine have been married for 28 years and are empty-nesters with two adult children. They have attended Crosspoint for 18 years. Brian is the director of a homeless shelter associated with the San Diego Rescue Mission, and Christine is a Kindergarten teacher at a local charter school. They both enjoy being outside, being with family, and playing games. In small groups, they look forward to developing deeper relationships with new and established friends.

Josh and Tiffany have attended Crosspoint for 3 years. They've been married for 23 years, and have four daughters (two in college, one in high school, and one in middle school). Josh and Tiffany run a business in the healthcare industry together, and their hobbies are cheering for their kids in their various sports, traveling, and spending quality time with their busy family. In small group, they love doing life together, getting deeper into the Word, and making time for Jesus outside of just Sunday mornings.

Danny and Ashlie have attended Crosspoint for 16 years. They have a son and two daughters (ages 14, 12, and 9). They are behavior analysts and the owners of a therapy services company, where they help kids with autism and special needs. Danny loves the outdoors and CrossFit, while Ashlie enjoys the comfort of indoors and anything that keeps life organized. They both love a good cup of coffee and spending Sabbath together with their family. They are looking forward to the amazing work God is going to do in them and through them this small group season.

Mike and Naryssa have been married for 19 years and have 4 kids (ages 19, 17, 16, and 12). They have a 2-year-old grandson and are welcoming a granddaughter in November. Naryssa works as an office manager in auto sales and at Crosspoint in our youth ministry, and Mike takes care of their family and home. They love camping and visiting the desert, the lake, and the beach. They love that we are all kinds of people discovering and following Jesus, and that small groups let us do that in a smaller, more close-knit setting.

Ed and Lindsey have attended Crosspoing for 3 years, have been married for 23 years, and have six children, five of whom joined their family through adoption. They are currently in the throes of launching young adults, which is both exciting and exhausting. Ed and Lindsey are both occupational therapists and enjoy being active, traveling, and having fun adventures. They love the community that small groups create and are looking forward to seeing God move in their lives and the lives of everyone in their group.

Mike and Mary have attended Crosspoint for 13 years, have been married for 26 years, and have two adult children and one grandchild. Mike is an IT professional with an IT managed services provider here in Temecula. He serves on Crosspoint's worship and tech teams, and in his free time, he's learning Japanese and enjoys riding his motorcycle. Mary is a sommelier and head of tours in wine country. She serves on the children's ministry team at Crosspoint. They love the friendships they have developed in previous small groups, and are looking forward to creating new friendships this year! They aim to foster personal spiritual growth, help identify spiritual gifts, and explore how the Lord wants to use these gifts in our lives to bless others.

Ron and Pamela have attended Crosspoint for 10 years, have been married for 45 years, and have 3 adult children and 7 grandchildren. Ron is an Equipment Engineer, and Pamela is a Paramedical Examiner. They enjoy spending time together and with family and friends, especially at the beach and on trips to Hawaii. They love sharing their home and the love of Jesus with others. Their focus in small group is to grow together in our passion for God and understanding his plan for our lives.

Chet and Coleen have attended Crosspoint for 2 years, have been married for 39 years, and have 3 adult children, 2 grandchildren, and one more on the way. Chet is a VP for a relocation company and has been in the moving industry for 40 years. Coleen is semi-retired from the retail industry and is enjoying being a full-time grandma and spending time in her garden. They love being part of a small group that believes in being a “no judgment zone”, and that focuses on becoming more like Christ, carrying each other's burdens, and living in the joy & hope that only Jesus offers.

Lance and Susan have attended Crosspoint for 5 years, have been married for 27 years, and are empty nesters with 2 adult daughters. Lance works with telecom systems, and Susan works with middle school ELD students. Lance enjoys woodworking, and Susan enjoys scrapbooking. Both of them serve on the worship team and love to travel. In small group, they are looking forward to getting to know new people and connecting more deeply with people they already know.

Rob and Melissa have attended Crosspoint since 2005 and have been married for 20 years. They have a blended family of 3 children and they adore their grandchildren. Their favorite things are road trips, traveling on vacation, BBQing, and playing games. They are looking forward to an impactful small group season.

Scott and Ann have attended Crosspoint since 2014 and have been married for 47 years. They are empty-nesters with one daughter and 3 grandchildren. Scott is a retired Civil Engineer, and Ann was a stay-at-home mom. Scott enjoys tinkering with their ID Buzz VW and also enjoys woodworking projects. Ann enjoys crafts, sewing, and reading historical fiction. They love hosting small groups in their home, getting to know brothers & sisters in Christ, studying God’s Word together, and growing deeper in our walks with Jesus.

Adrian and Leslie have attended Crosspoint since 2012 and were married in 1978. They have three adult children and eight grandkids. Adrian retired from CalFire in 2006, and Leslie retired as a homeowners' association manager after 40.5 years. Adrian enjoys studying the Bible and updating his book. Leslie enjoys crafts with the grandkids and photography. They both love camping with their family. In small groups, they love forming friendships, learning together, and sharing prayer requests and answered prayers.

They love to travel and spend time with their grandkids in California and Wyoming. They are looking forward to drawing closer to God and to each other in small group through worship, study, and prayer.

Pat and Nancy have attended Crosspoint for 2.5 years. Pat serves on the Worship Team, and Nancy serves in Children's Ministry. They've been married for 36 years, and have two grown children and one granddaughter whom they love spending time with. They enjoy following the LA Dodgers and the Minnesota Twins. This small group season, they look forward to continuing to build on established friendships and forging new ones.

Jonathan and Tawni have attended Crosspoint for 8 years, have been married for 14 years, and have 3 sons (ages 13, 11, and 9) and 2 fur babies. Jonathan is a retired Marine and is coaching baseball at Chaparral H.S. while he finishes his teaching degree. He loves all things sports and coaching. Tawni works in Children's Ministry and Communications here at Crosspoint. She loves nature and the beach, concerts, and homeschooling. They also run a family business together - a batting cage and training facility in Murrieta.

Joey and Beth have attended Crosspoint for 14 years, have been married for 21 years, and have two daughters and three dogs. Joey works as an Environmental Health and Safety Manager, and Beth is one of the pastors at Crosspoint. Their favorite things are camping, swimming, eating out at a great hole-in-the-wall, and having game nights with friends. Beth enjoys trying not to kill her indoor plants, and Joey loves to garden and save what Beth tries to kill. In small groups, they love building strong Jesus-centered relationships and digging deeper into the Bible.

HOSTS: Brandon and Andrea have attended Crosspoint for 4 years, have been married for 17 years, and have 3 daughters (ages 14, 11, and 6). Brandon, at one point or another, has tried almost every possible hobby, but is currently loving jiujitsu. Andrea enjoys reading and is a professional spectator and supporter of her husband's endless hobbies. They both love attending concerts, playing cards & games, and watching their kids' various activities. In small groups, they love the connection, relationship-building, and learning from others.

Ryan and Tara have attended Crosspoint for 12 years, have been married for 12 years, and have two kids (ages 21 and 6). Tara is a program director for a child development center, and Ryan works for Crosspoint in youth ministry and facilities. Tara enjoys antiquing, Ryan loves video games, and together they enjoy spending time at Disneyland. In small group, they love getting to expand their Biblical knowledge and doing life with others who share their values.

Kurt and Briana have attended Crosspoint for 3.5 years and have been married for 6 years. They don’t have kids yet, but they do have plants and a kombucha scoby they are keeping alive. Kurt is a software engineer, and Briana is a program manager at a local Charter School. They love board games, movies, travel, and all things Japan. This small group season, they are looking forward to the community and camaraderie that doing life together in a small group brings.

Steve and Denise have been a part of Crosspoint from day one. They have been married A LOT of years, and have a son, a daughter, and two granddaughters. They love traveling, the Dodgers, good books, and playing games with friends. Their favorite thing about small groups is watching people who don’t know each other come together to create a community where they can care for each other.

Hong and Soo are the hosts of the Redden small group. They have been married for 25 years and have three sons. Hong grew up in LA and is an avid Raiders fan. Soo grew up in Virginia and loves to read. They have lived in Boston, San Jose, Hawaii, and Orange County prior to moving to Temecula in 2024. They look forward to opening their home to their small group.

Darrell and Rebecca have attended Crosspoint for 13 years, have been married for 24 years, and have a high schooler, a college student, and a labradoodle. Darrell is a Manager of Animation at Sony PlayStation, and Rebecca is the Children’s Pastor at Crosspoint. They enjoy family time and impromptu trips, Darrell loves woodworking, and Rebecca loves reading and cooking. In small groups, they love digging deeper into scripture, looking at context, author, and any other notes that help us better understand Bible passages.

Jack and Jennifer have attended Crosspoint for 12 years, have been married for 10 years, and are a blended family with 5 grown children. Jack is in sales, and Jennifer is a special education teacher. They enjoy going to the beach, attending Dodger and Charger games, and traveling.

David and Sarah have attended Crosspoint for three years. They have been married for 35 years and have three grown children, one grandson, and a granddaughter on the way. Dave is a retired pharmacist, and Sarah is an author of historical fiction. They love traveling, exploring, and taking their two large dogs for long walks. Dave's hobbies include home projects, wrestling weeds, and arguing with Duolingo - hobbies that Sarah encourages so she has more time to write! They're both excited to see what God will do in small groups this year.

Dave has served at Crosspoint since 2011. He feels that small groups build community through discussions that expand and strengthen faith. He has served on the board of the mission organization Street Hope Kenya and has traveled to Kenya for several mission trips. He was married for 54+ years and has children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Larry and Anne have been newlyweds for nearly 5 years, and between them, they have five “little” and four “big” grandkids. Larry is a retired firefighter, and Anne is a retired special education teacher. They love traveling, camping, board games, and spending time with friends and family. Larry’s been at Crosspoint for 16+ years, and Anne has been a part of Crosspoint since its founding. They are happy to be leading a 10 AM group, so those who don’t have evening availability still have the opportunity to join a small group.

Sheree is a single mother of two married sons, and has one granddaughter and another on the way. She has been a follower of Jesus since 2012, attending Crosspoint most of the years since then. She has a 16-year-old Shi-zhu/poodle, her backyard is her joy, and she loves audiobooks. She's listened to at least 100 already this year! In small group, she loves getting to know Christ through friendship with others, and supporting and lifting each other in prayer.

Frank and Lori have attended Crosspoint for nearly two years. They've been married for 7 years, and have a blended family of 4 adult children. Frank is a consultant manager for IT consultants, and Lori is an office manager for a company that makes high-performance engine parts for NHRA cars. Lori sings as part of the San Diego Chorus as well as in a female barbershop quartet. Frank loves to smoke meat and attend his Kempo dojo. They love getting to meet and grow closer with people in small group.

Evan and Crystal have attended Crosspoint for 15 years and have been married for 22 years. They have a 17-year-old son and an 11-year-old pitbull. Crystal is Crosspoint's worship director, and she enjoys weightlifting and hanging by the pool. Evan is the head Men’s & Women’s tennis coach at Chapman University, and he is a black belt in jiu-jitsu and plays electric guitar on the worship team. In small group, they love learning more about God’s word and growing closer with a community of believers.

Viki has attended Crosspoint for one year, has been married for 5 years, and has a 4 year old daughter. She is a stay at home mom and she and her family spend a lot of time swimming, going to the park, and visiting Disneyland. Lee and Carol have been married for nearly 42 years and are proud parents of three adult children, with their eighth grandchild due this December. They’ve been attending Crosspoint for 16 years and bring deep compassion and life experience to those navigating chronic pain and illness. With open hearts and a listening ear, they offer support, understanding, and hope to everyone they meet. Join them in digging deeper into the Sunday message with others who are on this journey with chronic illness/pain. Their desire is to grow in God’s Word, carry one another’s burdens, and trust Jesus more deeply in every season.

Dynamic Compassion is a directed Bible study and action group which aims to equip its members to bring the love and compassion of Jesus directly to those outside the walls of our valley's churches. Each weekly meeting will consist of Biblical study, prayer, listening, and discussion. In addition, there will be times when the group goes out into the community to put what they've learned into action. Ed is the Director of Emergency Management for the city of Vista, and also leads the Mental & Spiritual Wellness group with his wife, Paula.

Viki has attended Crosspoint for two years, has been married for 6 years, and has a 5-year-old daughter. In group, she loves celebrating each other's accomplishments, encouraging each other to grow, and getting to pour into the next generation through the kids' involvement each week.

Jim and Fiona have attended Crosspoint for 7 years, have been married for 12 years, and have 3 daughters. They are a family who loves to travel, which is a good thing because Fi is originally from New Zealand and Jim is an airline pilot. They love leading a family-style small group where they get to welcome families into their home and watch both kids and adults build connections with each other while growing in their faith.

Duane and Kim have attended Crosspoint since 2010. They've been married for 31 years, and have six children (ages 22, 19, 19, 17, 4, & 3). Duane is a local educator, and Kim is a former educator and a stay-at-home mom. They lead a family-style small group, and what they love most about small groups is the realness. Life is chaotic, beautiful, messy, and sacred - and small group is a place where we can belong just as we are, finding strength and encouragement in each other's stories.

Jason and Karianne have attended Crosspoint for 11 years, have been married for 21 years, and have a 20-year-old son. Karianne is an occupational therapy assistant, and Jason works for the city of Murrieta as a maintenance worker, so honk your horn when you see him. Karianne likes puzzles, animals, and eating out, and Jason likes exercising, hunting, and fishing. They both serve as hosts at Crosspoint, and together they enjoy camping, kayaking, and hanging out with their Crosspoint family. They love small groups for the fellowship and new relationships.

Kevin and Christi have attended Crosspoint for 10+ years. They've been married for 18 years and have twin 16-year-old boys, two dogs, fish, and a butterfly sanctuary. Christi works at the Christian and Missionary Alliance South Pacific District office, and Kevin works in the automotive industry and serves on the Men's Ministry team at Crosspoint. They love the outdoors and camping. This year in small groups, they are looking forward to journeying together in learning more about God's design for marriage and how we can grow stronger in our relationships.
SINGLE ADULTS

Valentina is a single mother of a 15-year-old daughter and has attended Crosspoint for 10 years. Last year, God placed it on her heart to start a small group for single parents, and it was a beautiful time of connection. This year, she and her co-leader realized there's a need for ALL singles to have a place where they feel they belong. They know attending a small group as a single person, especially in a group full of couples, can feel intimidating, and sometimes it can be easy to feel disconnected. Their hope is that those who have felt that disconnect will find a home in their group.

Gil is a single dad of 2 kids (ages 7 and 5) and has attended Crosspoint for 8 years. He enjoys anything outdoors, golfing, and exploring new ice cream shops with his kids. He is co-leading the single adults group and is looking forward to creating a safe and nonjudgmental space to support and seek guidance from one another as we grow in our walk with Christ together.

Christine is the host of the single adults group. She is a divorced single mother of 5 kids, ranging in age from 13 to 21. She works as a bookkeeper and office administrator, and her hobbies include music and spending time with her kids. In small group, she enjoys building relationships with others in similar life stages and circumstances.

Faygene has attended Crosspoint for 7 years and has 3 adult children and 2 granddaughters. She is a retired Special Education Instructional Assistant and has a 26-year-old special needs daughter. She enjoys anything baseball (especially the Padres), paint-by-numbers projects, coaching her daughter in the Special Olympics, and spending time with her family. Faygene loves connecting with other special needs families to network, support, and build community.
WOMEN OF CROSSPOINT
Wednesdays, 6:30-8:30pm, Near Chaparral High School

After losing her husband several years ago, DeVonna made the decision to move to this area from Fallbrook so she could be closer to her 2 daughters and 3 grandchildren. She loves serving the Lord and helping others. She also loves history and enjoys traveling, reading historical fiction, cooking, and gardening. She co-leads the Women of Crosspoint small group and loves connecting with women in various walks and stages of their lives. Whether they're in their 30's or 80's, they bring value to the group with their life experiences and testimonies.

Suzanne has been attending Crosspoint for 14 years. She is involved in Women’s Ministry and hosts a Women’s Bible study in her home a few times each year. She also currently serves at the Welcome Center. She loves meeting new people and learning how and why they came to Crosspoint. She and Devonna lead a small group open to all women.
YOUNG ADULT (18-24)

Byron and Barb have attended Crosspoint for 15 years, have been married for 24 years, and have two children in their 20s. Both of them are former US Marines, and now they both work for the Department of Defense. They enjoy cooking, gardening, volunteering, and watching their favorite football teams, the LSU Tigers and the New Orleans Saints. They are excited to co-lead the young adult small group, especially since their own kids are currently young adults.

Tyler and Katie have been attending Crosspoint for 11 years, have been married for 11 years, and have a 6-year-old son and 4-year-old daughter. Tyler is an entrepreneur and runs multiple companies, and Katie is a high school teacher currently staying home to raise their kids. They are so excited to lead the young adult small group and help young people walk through that transitional stage of life.

MENTAL & SPIRITUAL WELLNESS

An individual’s mental, emotional, and physical well-being can have a significant impact on their spiritual health. Likewise, strong faith can help manage stress, foster resilience, and promote healing for anyone experiencing mental health challenges. The mental & spiritual wellness group is intended for individuals and family members looking for faith-based support and encouragement around mental or behavioral health issues. Paula is a retired nurse who spent most of her career in the mental health field. Ed earned his phd in Public Health, spent much of his career working in the mental health field, and now serves as the Director of Emergency Management for the city of Vista.

Billy and Sam Tait have been married for almost ten years and have journeyed through recovery together. The recovery group is a compassionate and supportive community where individuals in active recovery and their loved ones can feel empowered and understood. This group is open to all those in recovery and to families impacted by addiction, and it aims to foster healing, resilience, and connection through shared experiences and mutual encouragement. Together, we can build a future of hope, strength, and lasting recovery for all.

DivorceCare is a Christ-centered support group for those experiencing the pain and challenges of separation or divorce. In this video-based program, you’ll find helpful counsel to manage the emotional turmoil and practical tools for decision-making, as well as a safe, caring community. Jack and Jennifer have been married for 10 years and are a blended family with 5 grown children. They enjoy going to the beach, attending Dodger and Charger games, and traveling.
GRIEFSHARE
Mondays, 6:30-8:30pm, Crosspoint Church

GriefShare is a Christ-centered support group for people who have experienced the death of a spouse, child, family member, or friend. Each session features a video presentation of experts, pastors, and Christian counselors discussing topics like comfort, answers, and hope. Everyday people who have gone through the grieving process also share their stories of what has helped them deal with the pain of losing a loved one. Dennis and Laura have 5 children and 3 grandchildren. They love the outdoors, hiking, being near the ocean, and spending time with their grandkids.

This dynamic discipleship series will strengthen the foundational pillars of your faith while giving you practical tools to navigate seven key areas of life. Through engaging teaching, real-life application, and interactive discussions, we’ll grow together in hearing God’s voice, applying His Word, sharing our faith, and praying with power. This program is led by Dennis and Laura, who also lead the GriefShare group.
