Our Story

It all began in the Spring of 2004 ...

Crosspoint Church (originally called Inland Valley Church) was launched by Steve Redden and a small launch team with a desire to see people from all walks of life discover Jesus and learn to follow Him.

More About Our Story

In the beginning years, the church grew from several families meeting in small groups in homes, to a portable church of 160 people meeting in schools. In the winter of 2009, Crosspoint landed in their first building in Murrieta. This was an exciting time as new ministries were launched, over 80% of the church participated in a Small Group, people were constantly being baptized into new faith, and the church outgrew it's building within a few short years.

Today, Crosspoint Church continues the legacy with which we began. With over 27 full & part-time staff, we are committed to reaching people for Jesus, supporting and participating in church planting all over the world, and offering weekend services that inspire and equip people to trust Jesus. There is more to come—join us as we journey together!

In January of 2013, a great opportunity arrived for the church to move to its current campus. This has enabled us to continue to grow, offer more classes and ministries, and impact our community in greater ways. We are blessed to be able to say that the vision that started Crosspoint Church still drives us to this day:

Jesus

God loves us extravagantly and made things right by coming in the person of Jesus to live, die and rise again.

We are made right with God when we entrust our lives to Jesus. Based on this commitment, we will eternally experience a relationship with God forever (heaven) or experience separation from God forever (hell).
